I am Kate Wehrmeyer and I have over 30 years of experience bringing about positive change in industry as well as my community and I’ve been very successful at helping organizations excel. Those improvements have had impact on the bottom line while improving employee engagement, safety, and customer satisfaction in industry, and enabled charitable organizations to meet their service goals using fewer resources, including people, time, energy and funding.
My education is forever on-going, as I love to learn and I believe continuous improvement applies to everything, including myself.
My experience includes opportunities to develop and implement Continuous Improvement strategies as well as the training, coaching and measurement systems to bring about transformational change. I’ve also had the opportunity to lead project teams and drive improvement in day-to-day operations across multiple functions in addition to facilitation of global executive teams.
Prior to establishing my own firm, I worked across multiple business functions including operations, engineering, quality/reliability, human resources and information technology. I had the pleasure to work with Fortune 500 companies such as General Motors and Delphi, as well both private and publicly held companies in food and beverage, including Cliffstar, Cott Beverages and Rich Products.
My gift to see people and organizations as unique leads to a personalized engagement… ‘one size’ does not fit all. My practice of basing opinions on logical analysis of observable facts and hard data enables me to be objective and neutral while driving practical solutions to real-world problems. My seemingly endless reserve of energy can create both enthusiasm and momentum to help you get to where you need to be.
I am a conscientious, practical, structured individual that believes in ensuring quality in everything I do. I focus my skills as a consultant, trainer and facilitator to inspire organizations of all kinds to be better and improve their performance.
My passion is having an impact and helping others succeed while sharing my knowledge and experience. I would like to use that passion to help you be more successful and optimize your flow.
I share all of this to provide insight into who I am and how I operate. I want to work with you while sharing sound, proven practices that you will use every day.
"Kate Wehrmeyer is one of the key people that helped the Sikeston site become the first successful install and operation of blow molding bottles. She kept us focused on key processes including quality, maintenance, operations and training. In all my years, I have never seen a CI expert go beyond the willingness to teach as Kate was to live it with Sikeston's associates."
